Celebrate issue 5 with creative conversations, poetry readings, and more from our Seawitches artists.

Seawitches was born from a passion to tell stories from diverse perspectives and an almost mystical adoration for nature. With issue 5, we have so much to celebrate! Four years of publishing our magazine (woo), a new logo, and 15 Seawitches artists.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at making issue 5 with the Seawitches team. The cover artist, Cristine Blanco, will share the concept behind her sun and moon illustration. Artist Kate Barattini will share the stories behind her surfing animals. Poets Imani Johnson-Bey and Coco Peezy will read their powerful poems. Author Jessica Berta will read her love letter to Lake Michigan. Olivia VanDamme will share insights from her interview with Kelly Caballero, an Indigenous artist from the Tongva tribe.
